Fascia even influences our posture, when we feel sad or angry or even happy how we hold ourselves changes. Sitting in a slumped position can also lead to emotional changes and fascial restrictions which can even restrict our breathing which has devastating effects on our autonomic nervous system.

Pain and dysfunction in your body can be caused by stuck fascia. If fascial is a Web like structure that glides and moves and helps everything it surrounds to flow then when it gets restricted nothing can perform the way it needs to. This can also be caused by ongoing emotional tension and not expressing your emotions.

Freeing up fascial restrictions can help release unresolved emotions and restore your system to optimum health.

Being connected to fascia increases your body awareness. When we become aware of our body we also become more aware of our emotions. Understanding your emotions means you can choose how to react which can improve relationships and also improve your well-being.
