Assisted Stretching

 

Assisted stretching is a form of stretching in which a gentle force is exerted upon the limb to move it into a new position, holding it for a specific amount of time in order to lengthen and stretch the muscle fibre and tissue.

This helps to create alignment in the muscle and body and contributes to improving flexibility, increased muscle control and an increased range of motion. 

Benefits include:

  • Increased range of movement.

  • Assists realign muscle fibers.

  • Decreased stress on the joints

  • Quicker recovery

1 hr Assisted stretch

Full body stretch we start with the calves and go all the way to the neck. Other muscles stretched include your legs, glutes, back and chest.

1.5 hr Assisted stretch

A little extra time to focus on the tight areas and throw in some more stretches where needed.
